Service Policy and Terms
Last updated: November 1, 2026
These are the terms I work under. They exist so that you know exactly what to expect and there are no surprises on either side.
1. Pricing and estimates
Any price quoted before I see the vehicle is an estimate. Final pricing is confirmed on site, after I inspect the vehicle, and before I begin any work. You will always hear the total out loud and agree to it before I start.
Pricing depends on vehicle size, number of seating rows, and condition. Published prices are starting prices.
The following are not included in a standard detail and are quoted separately:
Pet hair removal
Trash and personal item removal
Stain removal
Seat shampooing, priced per row
Headlight restoration
Engine bay cleaning
Paint enhancement or correction
Odor and ozone treatment
If I find the vehicle is in materially worse condition than described or shown in photos, I will show you, explain the options with prices and added time, and let you choose. I will never add a charge without telling you first.
2. What I need on site
I am fully mobile and bring all equipment and supplies. I need:
Access to a standard electrical outlet
Access to a water spigot for any service involving exterior washing
Enough space to work around the vehicle
The vehicle accessible and unlocked at the scheduled time
Interior-only services can be performed with power alone. If power or water is unavailable when I arrive, I may not be able to complete the service, and the appointment may need to be rescheduled.
3. Weather
I work outdoors in Northern Arizona at 7,000 feet.
I cannot perform exterior services when temperatures are at or below freezing, because water and chemicals freeze on the vehicle and on my equipment. I also cannot perform exterior work during rain, snow, or high wind.
If weather prevents your service, I will contact you as early as possible and either reschedule at no cost or, if you have a garage, offer to complete interior work instead. There is no charge for a weather cancellation.
4. Scheduling and cancellation
Please give 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. As a one-person business, a last-minute cancellation usually means that day cannot be filled.
There is no cancellation fee for standard services.
Services totaling $750 or more require a 20% deposit to hold the appointment, since jobs that size block out a full day or more. The deposit is refundable with 48 hours notice and applies to your final balance otherwise.
If I need to reschedule for weather or an emergency, I will get you into the soonest available slot and there is no cost to you.
If no one is present and the vehicle is not accessible at the scheduled time, I will wait 20 minutes and attempt to contact you before leaving.
5. Payment
Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise arranged.
I accept cash, card, and mobile payment. Commercial and fleet accounts can be invoiced.
Online payments are processed securely by my payment provider.
Refunds are handled case by case. If you are not satisfied, tell me before I leave and I will do what I can to make it right on the spot.
6. What detailing can and cannot do
This is the most important section, and I would rather over-explain it than have you disappointed.
Detailing is cleaning, restoration, and protection. It is not repair.
The following cannot be fully corrected and will be pointed out to you before work begins:
Scratches deep enough to catch a fingernail. These are through the clear coat. They will improve in appearance but will still be visible.
Etched water spots and mineral etching. Where minerals have eaten into the clear coat, these improve but may not disappear.
Tree sap damage. Sap that has sat long enough to etch the clear coat is permanent and cannot be corrected by polishing or sanding.
Clear coat failure. Where clear coat is peeling or has delaminated, it cannot be polished. It requires refinishing.
Set-in stains. Older stains improve significantly but may leave a shadow, and some stains are permanent dye transfer.
Odors from sources inside the upholstery padding or HVAC system. These can often be greatly reduced but not always eliminated.
Wicking. Deep contamination in carpet padding can resurface as carpet dries, which is normal and correctable on a follow-up visit.
Rock chips, dents, cracked glass, and torn or worn upholstery. These are body, glass, and upholstery repair, which I do not perform.
I do not guarantee the complete removal of any specific defect, stain, or odor. What I guarantee is that I will tell you honestly what I expect to achieve before I take your money, and that I will show you a test section on any paint work before committing to the whole vehicle.
7. Vehicle condition and liability
Please remove all valuables, personal items, and documents before your appointment. I am not responsible for items left in the vehicle.
I inspect and photograph vehicles before beginning work. I am not responsible for pre-existing damage, including existing scratches, dents, chips, cracked or failing clear coat, torn upholstery, or worn trim.
I am not responsible for the failure of aftermarket parts, previously repainted or refinished panels, aftermarket films or wraps, or components already damaged, loose, deteriorated, or improperly installed.
Some older or heavily deteriorated materials, including brittle plastics, failing adhesives, aged vinyl, and previously repainted surfaces, can fail during normal cleaning. Where I identify this risk I will raise it before proceeding.
My liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the service in question.
8. Excessive condition and biohazard
Vehicles with significant biohazard contamination, including bodily fluids, mold, infestation, or hazardous materials, require additional time, materials, and precautions, and are quoted separately. I reserve the right to decline any job that I judge unsafe or beyond what I can properly perform.
9. Photos
I photograph vehicles before and after service for my records and for marketing, including my website, Google Business Profile, and social media. Names, addresses, and license plates are never published, and plates are blurred when visible.
If you prefer that photos of your vehicle not be used publicly, tell me and I will not use them.
10. Service area
I serve Flagstaff and the surrounding communities, including Williams, Bellemont, Doney Park, Kachina Village, Munds Park, and Parks. Travel is free within 30 miles. Beyond 30 miles a $25 travel fee applies.
11. Maintenance program
Maintenance program pricing requires the vehicle to be brought to detailed condition first, either through a full detail or because it already qualifies.
Program visits are scheduled on a recurring basis and confirmed with you beforehand each time.
There is no contract and no cancellation fee. You can pause or stop at any time.
If a vehicle falls significantly below maintained condition, additional work may be quoted separately before the visit.
12. Questions
If anything here is unclear, ask me before your appointment. I would much rather answer a question than fix a misunderstanding.
